The Northwest Accountability Project is a 501(c)(4) organization that executes strategic campaigns to push back on the apparatus responsible for the relentless attacks on workers’ rights, LGBT rights, woman’s rights, the environment and the progressive community in the Pacific Northwest. Our campaigns are grounded in aggressive communications strategies, social media and robust ground operations that seek to hold this apparatus accountable.

The Northwest Accountability Project Washington Director will oversee our Washington State campaign and lead our corporate campaigns.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Oversee all of NWAP’s corporate campaigns.
  • Work with a broad coalition of citizens, organizations, businesses and leaders.
  • Support the broader campaign.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Candidates should have at least two years of working at a progressive organization or labor union and a strong commitment to defending worker’s rights, LGBT rights and the environment.

In addition, the candidate should have a combination of education and experience that would provide the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:

  • A strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to multi-task and balance competing priorities and handling multiple “priority” projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to present ideas that are clear, creative and reach intended audiences.
  • Ability to cultivate relationships and maintain relationships.
  • Must be able to work extended hours as campaign requires some nights and weekends.

Direction and Decision Making: This position reports to the Executive Director of The Northwest Accountability Project and works independently.
