Senior Labor Relations Representative

Based in New York City, NY

About Us
Come join THE independent nurses’ union in New York City and help us fight for quality patient care and the best working conditions for our members! Located on the Upper East Side, New York Professional Nurses Union (NYPNU) represents 1,300 Registered Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, and RN Case Managers in Manhattan-area hospitals. NYPNU was founded by nurses with the vision that nurses are best at advocating on their own behalf and are most effective at standing up for their patients. NYPNU’s elected leaders are all current or retired nurses, nurse practitioners, and case managers at the facilities NYPNU represents. When they negotiate the contract, they have to live with the results as employees working side-by-side with other NYPNU members. NYPNU has been, and continues to be, at the forefront of worker and patient advocacy. Most notably, NYPNU was one of the first unions in the country to win nurse-patient ratios in their contract. We continue the fight today for stronger workplace protections to help our patients and our members.
