POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for the administrative functions of the Nursing Division and operations assisting with all nursing projects and events and working cooperatively with Associate Directors. Reports to the Director of Nursing Division. The salary range for this position is $48,959 – 53,978.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Communicates in writing/email, by telephone and through personal contact with members, potential members, and the public, as necessary.
  • Types, edits, and proofs Division documentation and operates equipment related to the function of the Division.
  • Provides input and recommendations to enhance the operation and effectiveness of the division.
  • Organizes own workload and establishes priorities.
  • Assists with special projects/duties as assigned by the Division Director.
  • Implements policies as promulgated by MNA in consultation with the Division Director.
  • Provides support and is involved with daily Divisional responsibilities such as coordinating packets for Continuing Education.
  • Maintaining documentation of educational programs including attendance, evaluations, polls, and certificates.
  • Provide on-site staff support for division events supporting activities including registration. 
  • Coordinates administrative tasks with Associate Directors of the Division.
  • Support member requests regarding on-line Continuing Education (CE and CNE) registration.
  • Maintain relevant records and ensure Divisional manuals are current and accurate.
  • Provide support for the MNA awards committee. 
  • Maintains competency on all data management systems.
  • Provides switchboard coverage as needed.
  • Edit and update member contact information in MNA database as appropriate 
  • Other duties as directed.

QUALIFICATIONS

  1. High school diploma required. Three or more years related administrative experience preferred.
  2. Proficiency in Microsoft suite required. 
  3. Ability to establish interpersonal relationships with clients, peers, members, and supervisory personnel. Works well with people in all settings.
  4. Must be familiar with the operation of computer equipment and software applications.
  5. Experience of data management systems (i.e., iMIS, Fontiva, Salesforce etc.) preferred.
  6. Analytical ability in problem solving.
  7. Excellent communication and service skills in both oral and written forms.
  8. Ability to work independently and possess good organizational skills.
