Job Title: Organizer, Representative, and/or Negotiator
Location: Western New York State preferred (other northeast locations considered)

Job Description and Duties: The Union of American Physicians and Dentists (UAPD), America's oldest and largest physicians union, is looking for an organizer/representative/negotiator in Western New York State to lead successful NLRB elections; coordinate collective actions; spearhead communication/messaging efforts for campaigns (buttons, billboards, flyers, social media, etc.); manage press/events; work with sister unions; communicate with local politicians; troubleshoot workplace grievances; provide Weingarten representation; attend collective bargaining sessions; and liaise between bargaining unit members, UAPD attorneys, and UAPD leadership.

Desired Experience: Organizing, representation, negotiating, community organizing, and/or general union-related experience is highly preferred. The candidate should be ambitious, responsive, motivated, organized, and have excellent communication skills. To this end, fluency in communications software (including Unionware) is also vital.

Work Modality: This position is both in-person and remote.

Salary, Benefits, and Hours: based on experience.
