Service Representative

Based in South Central Wisconsin
(route to include but not be limited to Madison, Janesville, Beloit)

Service Representative Responsibilities include:

• Understanding of labor law.
• Enforcement of collective bargaining agreements.
• Ability to work out labor-relations problems, process grievances and handle arbitrations.
• Represent members in employment-related issues.
• Conduct membership meetings.
• Assist in Negoitations.
• Other duties as assigned

This position requires a person with the ability to prioritize and multi-task. Long, variable work schedules are required. A valid driver’s license and dependable vehicle are required in order to travel within the State of Wisconsin. Other requirements include strong listening, speaking and writing skills with the ability to understand and communicate complicated issues, talent for problem-identification and resolution, and computer literacy. Prior experience working as a business agent/union representative or organizer for a labor organization preferred. Bilingual is preferred due to our membership needs but will consider all candidates.
