Job Description:
Ensures implementation of the collective bargaining program: files grievances; drafts contract language and negotiates contracts; administers contract enforcement; monitors changes in conditions of employment (new policies of employer), files unfair labor practices; communicates, coordinates, and works with shop stewards and leaders in the development and implementation of worksite issue campaigns; organizes internal and external.
Requirements (minimum requirements):
The individual shall have independently demonstrated proficiency in the following areas:
- Re-opened and re-negotiated existing Collective Bargaining Agreements
- Conducted negotiations for first-time Collective Bargaining Agreements
- Involved with conducting organizing campaigns
- Instruct / teach how to process a first step grievance with stewards
Compensation:
The position includes a generous salary and benefits package in accordance with a collective bargaining agreement.
