Program Coordinator (Support)

Based in Burbank, CA

 

The IATSE Training Trust Fund (TTF), a Taft Hartley Training Fund, is hiring a full-time Program Coordinator to support, conduct outreach as needed, coordinate and track select training programs of the IATSE Training Trust Fund. This position will work in the newly created Support Department and conduct the work of the department with a focus on helping beneficiaries access our programs with ease in addition.

Organization Overview:
The IATSE Training Trust Fund is a labor management training fund that envisions a workforce with the highest level of training in skills, safety, and craftsmanship, available across the IATSE jurisdiction. Our mission is to promote industry-wide recognized standards for safety, skills, and craftsmanship in the entertainment and exhibition industries by:

  • Providing training that improves existing skills, develops new skills, embraces technological change, and focuses on the safest way to perform the work of the crafts,
  • Supporting training opportunities to all employees working under the jurisdiction of the IATSE
  • Developing state-of-the-art training tools, resources, and methods

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to beneficiaries, local unions, and employers for assigned TTF programs and resources.
  • Coordinate, implement and track TTF programs and trainings as assigned (including but not limited to applications processing, work/support to locals and employers as needed, and course tracking).
  • Support program beneficiaries, local unions, employers and instructors/vendors through the applicable program application and reporting processes.
  • Other projects as assigned by the Support Manager

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education: BA
  • Experience: 3+ years working for a non-profit, social services, training/education or labor organization supporting and implementing programs.

  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload and utilize time management skills
  • Previous entertainment industry experience a plus
  • Understanding of Taft Hartley Trust Funds a plus
  • Understanding of unions a plus

The IATSE Training Trust Fund is the joint labor management training fund created by the IATSE and its signatory employers. The IATSE is the International Alliance for Theatrical and Stage Employees and is the union representing craftspeople in the entertainment and exhibition industries from stagehands, tradeshow workers and camera operators to costumers, hair, and makeup artists, set and stage electricians and grips. The TTF’s participating employers are IATSE signatory employers spanning motion picture and television, live theater, sports broadcast and tradeshows across the US and Canada.

Salary: $75,920
