BCST Coordinator
(part-time – 18 hours per week)

TITLE: BCST Coordinator (part-time – 18 hours per week)
DIVISION: Field & Organizing
DESIGNATION: MTASO Level VI
REPORTS TO: Field & Organizing Manager
BENEFITS ELIGIBILITY: This position is eligible for medical and dental insurance as well as prorated paid time off benefits.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide support, and basic administration of databases that support the Bargaining Campaign Strategy Team.
- Provide a wide variety of administrative support services for the Bargaining Campaign Strategy Team.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Maintains, and updates databases and other data applications as needed by the BCST. This includes retrieving data and requesting data from coordinators, entering data, and generating reports. It also includes setting up simple “databases” such as to track people participating in BCST programs, but not that would require coding skills.
- Maintains and updates the BCST page and items on the staff intranet/SharePoint, including updating tiles, folders, feeds, etc.
- Provides general administrative and office support for the BCST including by way of example, making meeting arrangements, sending invites and registrations, maintaining calendars, provide tech support for meetings, take notes in meetings, proofread, and edit documents, ordering materials, making copies/packets, and other administrative tasks in support of the BCST.
- Performs other duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma. College preferred. Three to five years of office experience including recent administrative experience preferred.
- Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with MS Office applications, especially Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
- Skilled in using user-friendly databases, research & presentation applications, and general office programs.
- Able to prioritize, handle multiple projects, and carry out responsibilities with a cooperative attitude.
