WSR - Worker-driven Social Responsibility Network

Worker-driven Social Responsibility Network

Campaign Coordinator

Based in New York City, NY
(remote locations allowed – with option for Washington, DC)

Organizational Overview
The Worker-driven Social Responsibility Network (WSRN) focuses on ending abuses against workers in corporate supply chains in the United States and globally. Network members are committed to a worker-driven social responsibility model that prioritizes enforcement of legally binding agreements and worker leadership in the design and implementation of social responsibility programs.

The WSRN is part of a global coalition of organizations, including trade unions and NGOs, that is working to address the impacts of the pandemic on garment workers, through the Pay Your Workers – Respect Labour Rights campaign. This position will work exclusively on that effort.

Position Overview and Responsibilities
The Campaign Coordinator will support the global campaign by helping develop and execute campaign plans, drafting communications materials, and liaising with dozens of labor, human rights, and other civil society organizations in the United States and internationally to inspire activism to advance the campaign goals.

The WSRN is anchored by Partners for Dignity and Rights (PDR). All WSRN staff are employed and supervised by PDR; work priorities for this position will be set by the garment sector members of the WSRN Coordinating Committee.

This is a grant-funded position with two years of guaranteed funding. Extension of the position is possible, depending on grant renewal. This position can be based out of PDR’s New York office or conducted remotely. There may also be an option for this position to be based out of an office in Washington, D.C.
