United for Respect

Senior Research Coordinator
Wall Street Accountability Campaigns

Remote
(NY/NJ, Washington DC, or Bay Area CA preferred)

United for Respect is a national organization building the voice of people working for the country’s largest corporations. Through scaled leadership development and base-building, UFR’s growing network is challenging major corporations and policymakers to provide family‐sustaining jobs for all working people. We leverage technology — social media, relational tools, and our digital platform, WorkIt — and bring the workforce into a shared community of support and advocacy.

For the past few years, UFR has been leading the fight to protect retail jobs from Wall Street’s predatory practices, addressing and amplifying the destructive impacts of unchecked Wall Street greed, particularly the outsized role that private equity plays in our economy and our communities. We organize and activate retail workers who have lost their jobs because of Wall Street-driven retail bankruptcies and workers employed by companies owned by private equity. We develop and wage comprehensive campaigns to hold Wall Street corporations accountable.

United for Respect (UFR) seeks a Senior Research Coordinator who can weave together corporate research and institutional investor engagement to inform and develop innovative and impactful strategies and tactics in support of our Wall Street Accountability Campaigns.

In coordination with UFR’s Corporate Accountability Director, the Senior Research Coordinator will conduct research to support our campaigns, draft materials for a wide range of audiences, and work within a cross-departmental team composed of UFR member leaders, organizing, political, policy, digital and communications staff.
