The School of Labor and Employment Relations is accepting applications for part-time adjunct faculty to teach undergraduate courses in a range of curriculum areas. Adjunct Instructors are sought for upcoming fall 2019 and spring and fall 2020 semesters.

SHORT DESCRIPTION SUMMARIZING POSITION FUNCTIONS
These positions will teach an eight week or sixteen week course on-line in the following areas:

  • Introduction to Labor Studies
  • Labor and Social Movements
  • Contemporary Labor Problems
  • Globalization and Workers

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Teach at the undergraduate level

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants for Adjunct Instructor positions must have at least a master’s degree and experience teaching labor studies, or have a bachelor’s degree and extraordinary experience in the labor movement.

SALARY STATEMENT
Salary will be commensurate with your teaching role and load.

APPOINTMENT STATUS
Adjunct Instructor. Teaching assignments are for one semester at a time, and are based upon sufficient enrollments.

PROPOSED STARTING DATE
August 2019 for the fall semester.
