Sheet Metal Worker Apprenticeship

WHAT IS A SHEET METAL WORKER?

Sheet metal workers are part of the building and construction trades. In shops we lay out, fabricate, and assemble sheet metal products used for heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems as well as architectural sheet metal items to be installed on building construction and renovation. At the construction project we install the items we make. Sheet Metal Workers also design, fabricate, and install a wide variety of products used in industrial and food processing applications, of which involve heavier metals and specific knowledge and skills of fabrication and various welding processes.
