UFCW Local 21 represents 36,000 workers in the grocery, health care, retail and food processing industries. We are the largest private sector local union in the state of Washington and have a broad commitment to social justice.  We organize aggressively to improve working conditions in our industries as we fight to build political power for all working people.  We are looking for aggressive, energetic people who want to make a difference in workers' lives and be part of building a progressive union. Local 21 has a large and vibrant organizing department.  We are committed to building power through a variety of ways, including through card checks, RC elections, and comprehensive campaigns.

The successful candidate will have experience winning campaigns that bring workers into unions. They must be able to work with diverse groups of people. They must be committed to building power and fight for workplace justice. Second language skills are preferable.
