Summary

Research/Data Analysts needed to provide ground breaking research and analysis concerning the health care industry. Research/Data Analyst positions are full time and based in Columbus, Ohio.

Description

A Research Analyst in District 1199 WV/KY/OH is responsible for:

  • Analyzing large (GB-TB) datasets using relational database and statistical software tools
  • Maintaining and improving existing database systems
  • Gather, summarize and interpret primary and secondary data from a variety of sources
  • Perform analysis of corporate or governments finances and public/private health care programs
  • Rapidly synthesizing substantial amounts of information

Qualifications

  • Very strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Proficient in at least one programming language
  • Experience with SQL a plus
  • Windows networking admin a plus
  • A passion for justice, a willingness to learn, the ability to work hard with irregular hours, and the ability to travel frequently
