| INTERNAL ORGANIZER Oregon Federation of Nurses and Health Professionals, AFT Local 5017 Responsibilities: Working with OFNHP's staff team, you will be assigned to support OFNHP's short and long term strategic plan, providing staff leadership and representation for our labor contracts, public policy and political action program. You will be assigned to educating members in leadership and political action, collective action, internal organizing and one-on-one staff mentoring. Additionally, you will have an assignment of direct membership representation work, representing five (5) labor contracts. Qualifications: Applicants should have a deep experience with union's political, communication and internal organizing with a breadth of knowledge of direct representational work. Excellent communication, writing and interpersonal skills are required. A commitment to a strong, democratic labor movement is a must; as well as experience working in coalition with other unions / community groups.
