ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT/SCHEDULER

Labor Organization Seeks Administrative Assistant/Scheduler

Washington, DC-based labor organization, engaged primarily in government and congressional affairs advocacy, is hiring an Administrative Assistant/Scheduler to assist the organization’s President.  Candidates must be skilled, highly motivated and have a demonstrated track record in this field for a minimum of 3 years.  Preference given to more experienced candidates.  Familiarity with the labor movement and the Washington policy & political community a plus.  Key functions include: dealing with executive offices to schedule meetings, organization of President’s office, meeting preparation, coordination with internal staff and external membership, and writing correspondences.  Pay in the $50’s to low $60’s, commensurate with experience, with excellent employer-paid health care benefits,  defined benefit pension and 401(k) benefit, and transit benefit .  Start March 1.
