ASSISTANT REGIONAL COUNSEL

The National Association of Government Employees, SEIU (NAGE), Washington, DC Regional Office is seeking applications to fill an Assistant Regional Counsel position.

Qualifications:

JD from an accredited law school
Admission to a state bar or the District of Columbia
Labor experience preferred, but not required

Duties of the position:

The Assistant Regional Counsel (ARC) is a junior level position. The ARC is responsible for assisting in the coordination and representation of all litigation matters handled by the Washington, DC Regional Office; including representing employees in arbitrations, MSPB, EEOC, FLRA, and state administrative forums. The ARC occasionally represents employees in state and federal courts.

Salary negotiable depending on experience.

Some travel required.
