Strategic Targeting Coordinator

Change to Win, a dynamic coalition of 7 of North America's most progressive labor unions, is seeking a Strategic Targeting Coordinator for our 2008 political program. The Strategic Targeting coordinator will work with our political team in implementing a technology program for extensive field voter contact for the 2008 election cycle. Responsibilities:

The Strategic Targeting Coordinator will be responsible for:

• Managing voter data, as well as all enhancement to lists
  
• Working with VAN and Catalyst programs
  
• Oversee data collection systems and the electoral targeting process
  
• Run counts and lists as needed
  
• Working with field staff to develop tracking systems for data collection on the ground as well as establish accountability mechanisms
  
• Train political staff to use voter files and organizing tools
  
• Work with other analysts in the progressive community to share best practices, learn about the latest technology, approaches and models, etc.

Qualifications:

BA degree and some campaign experience (such as grassroots, organizing, legislative, electoral or public relations campaigns). Familiarity with VAN and Catalyst. Successful applicants will be detail oriented posses strong analytical skills and be highly organized. Must be a team player. Demonstrated commitment to social justice and the goals of Change to Win. Must be willing to work long hours, including nights and weekends, and to travel.
