Job Opportunity:
Staff Accountant
Change to Win is
seeking a Staff Accountant to assist with the financial accounting operations
of the organization. Change to Win (CtW) is a dynamic coalition of 7
of North America's most progressive labor unions and a leading force

based in Washington, DC.
Responsibilities:
1. Financial
Accounting:
- Maintain general
ledger and subsidiary journals, including cash receipts, cash disbursements,
accounts payable and accounts receivable, using standardized automated
accounting systems.
- Reconcile accounts
payable, accounts receivable.
- Allocate costs
to departments/sites based on cost allocation plan.
- Prepare financial
reports, analysis, and draft policies and procedures
- Maintain cash
flow statement, reconciling accounts receivable and budgeted expenses
- Provide audit
support.
2. Operations:
- Manage all accounts,
including interest-bearing investments.
- Participate
in the organization's budget process, as needed.
3. Accounts Payable/Purchasing
- Ensure compliance
with internal control procedures and other policies and procedures
- Manage vender
relationships and resolution of billing issues
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in accounting. The ideal candidate will have strong
computer and communications skills. Must be highly organized. Must have
strong Excel and Word skills. Must be self-motivated and be able to
work independently with little supervision. Experience with Quickbooks
a plus. Commitment to the mission of Change to Win.
