CAMPAIGN ORGANIZER FRESC seeks an experienced full-time Campaign Organizer for the Denver metro area. The Organizer conducts outreach for FRESC campaigns, works with partner organizations and coalitions, communicates with individual workers and neighborhood residents, develops and supports individual leadership skills, coordinates group trainings and committees, and plans and executes organizing campaigns/actions as part of broader campaigns. Candidates should have a demonstrated ability to work with diverse array of individuals and communities. The successful candidate must have a solid commitment to strengthening our labor union and progressive social and economic justice movements. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit that seeks to achieve this vision by growing, fueling, and sustaining a long-term movement for economic justice through a collaboration of unions, community organizations, individual workers and neighborhood residents. FRESC also works closely with affiliated 501(c)(4) and (c)(5) partners, including the Denver Area Labor Federation (DALF). We utilize an innovative combination of research, advocacy, non-partisan electoral engagement, and coalition and grassroots organizing to build power for working families while holding governments and corporations responsible for the creation of quality jobs, secure health care, affordable housing, and environmental sustainability. Salary, Benefits, Work Environment: This is a full-time, salaried position and part of a staff union contract. Salary is competitive, based on experience, with generous benefits including health, dental, vision, employer-matched retirement, and real vacation time.
