ASSISTANT SUPERVISOR, RESIDUALS DEPARTMENT – AFTRA (Los Angeles)

The American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (AFTRA), L.A. Local is part of a national labor union representing over 70,000 performers on radio, television, and sound recordings, including actors, dancers, singers, stunt performers, announcers, radio DJ’s, talk show hosts, and news reporters and anchors. AFTRA Los Angeles is currently looking for an Assistant Supervisor, Residuals Department.

Under the direction of the Residuals Supervisor, the Assistant Supervisor will be responsible for logging, processing and distributing talent checks and reports. Duties also include assisting the Residuals Supervisor with department operations as assigned.

JOB DUTIES:
1. Assist with department operations.
2. Batch and log checks.
3. Perform supervisory duties as necessary.
4. Answer member inquiries.
5. Perform general administrative duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Minimum 3-4 years data entry experience.
2. Computer proficient.
3. 10 key proficient.
4. Detail oriented.
5. Ability to self-start, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
6. Ability to multi-task.
7. Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve.
8. Customer Service experience preferred.
9. Supervisory experience preferred.
Compensation:  $35,000 to $39,500 DOE
